I run a senior golf league. We play several different courses. Our league's average age is over 70. Erie Shores and most courses in the area need to take a better look at the tees. We don't hit the ball as far as we used to. A good drive for some of our members is 150 yards. Erie Shores is very fair to seniors on their par 4's and 5's, but the par 3 are too long. We don't enjoy playing par 3's that we can't even reach with our driver. Par 3's shouldn't be about distance they should be holes that everyone can take aim at the pin. it may be there only chance for the entire round. There should be tee locations for every age and skill. There should be five tee positions on every hole....1.champions,2regular,3men seniors & women, 4men 70 and over and 5 women seniors. Each tee should be shorter by 8 to 10%. New tees are no big problem to install. Like Jack Nicklaus said "tee it forward".
